Bourque Golf is a fun day for athletes and participants, but at the heart of it all is giving back to the community. All proceeds raised from this event are for Celebrities for Charity Foundation, a local non-profit organization. The mission of the Celebrities for Charity Foundation is to unite the goodwill of celebrities with the generosity of their fans to assist people in need.
Many charities lack the size, constituency, or the access to celebrities, to garner much, if any, support from them. To assist these charities, Celebrities for Charity”s Celebrity Connect program uses its relationships with celebrities to provide some assistance to these charities. Celebrities for Charity maintains an inventory of autographed memorabilia that charities can, by applying directly to Celebrities for Charity, have donated to them for use in their fundraising efforts.
The autographed memorabilia donated is primarily from Boston area professional athletes. Non-profit organizations interested in applying for support may use the Celebrity Connect Application & Instructions.
